Local Teams At OFSAA

Three Chatham-Kent high school teams are competing at OFSAA today.

Pain Court's girls basketball team is ranked 11th at the 'A' provincial tournament in Windsor. The Patriotes play the #1 ranked team at 9am.

CKSS boys volleyball team is also in Windsor for 'AAA' OFSAA. The seventh ranked Golden Hawks open round robin play at 10:30am.

While Wallaceburg's girls basketball team opens the 'AA' tournament at 12:30pm this afternoon in Kingsville. The Tartans are ranked third.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
