Man Allegedly Scams Over $1M

A LaSalle man is facing fraud charges after allegedly scamming over $1-million from multiple victims.

Windsor police say he entered into multiple agreements to install solar panels under the Ontario Feed in Tariff program and allegedly failed to follow through.

Officers also found receipts and other documents that had been falsified.

Michael Levesque, 46, is facing 44 fraud related offences.

Police believe there could be other victims and are asking them to come forward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
