Police Pull Stolen Truck From River

Chatham Kent police say there was no one inside a pickup truck they pulled from the Thames River early this afternoon.

They were called around 9 am by a passerby who noticed tire marks going down to the river from Grand River Line west of Jacob Rd.

A diver located the truck and it was pulled out early this afternoon.

Police say it had been reported stolen last week from a Crerar Dr. address in Chatham last week.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
