Porchlight Raises Over $40,000

The Chatham Goodfellows 61st annual Porchlight Campaign was a success.

Last night, volunteers went door-to-door and collected over $40,000 in cash donations, $3,500 more than last year.

More than 100 banana boxes full of toys and food were also donated to the "No Child Without A Christmas" campaign.

The money will be used to purchase toys and food that will be distributed in their Christmas baskets.

The Goodfellows board of directors was very pleased with the turnout of volunteers last night.
