Vipers Snap Maroons' Win Streak

The Chatham Maroons are no longer riding a five game winning streak after falling 5-3 to the LaSalle Vipers.

On Wednesday, the Vipers took a 2-0 lead in the first period before Chatham cut the lead in half with one goal in the second. LaSalle gained another three goals in the third over two from Chatham to earn the win.

Nathan Savage, Tyler Russell, Michael Ruttinger, Connor Rosaasen and Liam MacDougall each scored a goal for LaSalle.

Mark Fratarcangelli, Teddy McGeen and Connor McKinnon all scored once for Chatham

The Marooons return to the ice on Sunday to take on the Lambton Shores Predators at 4pm. And then next week on December 9, the Vipers face off against the Sarnia Legionnaires at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
