Maroons Look To Extend Win Streak In LaSalle

The Chatham Maroons will have to get past nearby rival LaSalle to extend their win streak to six games.

Chatham captain Ian Faubert calls the Maroons-Vipers rivalry a healthy one.

"We've had some good success against LaSalle and I don't think we really need to change anything," says Faubert. "We just need to keep coming out with that mentality and the boys definitely get a little more fired up when we play LaSalle or Leamington so it should be a good time."

Chatham and St.Thomas are tied for second in the conference with 34 points while LaSalle is just four points back, while the Maroons have a game in hand.

Tonight's game can be heard on AM 630 CFCO or online at BlackburnNews.com. Puck drop at the Vollmer Recreation Complex in LaSalle is set for 7pm.
