Four Days Of Toy Packing Gets Underway

The rigorous task of packing toy baskets for children in need gets underway tonight in Chatham.

Director of Chatham Goodfellows Tim Mifflin says they typically get several hundred volunteers that help out.

"We will be packing toys for approximately 1,200 to 1,400 children," says Mifflin. "So we need the individuals to go and choose age appropriate toys for girls and boys between 0 and 12 (years old), and it can be time consuming."

Toy packing runs every night from tonight until Thursday, at the old Guspro Building at 280 Grand Ave. E., from 6-8pm. All volunteers are welcome.

The toy baskets will be delivered December 21st.
