SCCDSB Ratifies Local Deals

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has tied up some loose ends regarding a number of contracts with their employees.

On Tuesday the board ratified deals with the Ontario English Catholic Teachers` Association (elementary and secondary), CUPE Local 4168, as well as the provincial deal with the Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario, which represents professional support workers.

The approvals come after tentative local deals were reached with OECTA and CUPE on November 23.

Local negotiations with the final two employee groups, Education Workers' Alliance of Ontario and OECTA-Occasional are expected to get underway soon.
