Junior Hockey Tee-Up - December 17, 2015

The Windsor Spitfires host the Saginaw Spirit at the WFCU Centre tonight.

The Spits are coming off of a pair of wins over the weekend shutting out the Sarnia Sting 3-0 on Friday and topping the Kitchener Rangers 4-3 on Sunday — putting an end to five game losing skid including a 5-3 loss to the Spirit which was the back-end of a home-and-home series which the Spits kicked-off with a 5-1 win.

The Spirit come into Windsor in fine form, winning five of their last six games since last playing the Spits.

Puck-drop is set for 7:05pm.

Elsewhere in hockey action tonight, the South Division leading Kingsville Kings take on the division basement dweller Norfolk Vikings in Greater Metro Junior 'A' Hockey League play.

The two previous meetings between the Kings and Vikings have been lopsided wins for the Kingsville team.

Puck-drop in Norfolk is set for 7:30pm.

In Greater Ontario Junior 'B' Hockey League action, the Western Conference leading Leamington Flyers host the Lambton Shores Predators at Highbury Canco Arena.

The Predators are coming off of a 6-4 win against the LaSalle Vipers while the Flyers are also in good spirits coming back to home ice after winning on the road in Strathroy 3-2.

Puck-drop is set for 7:10pm.
