Junior Hockey Tee-Up - December 18, 2015

Two of the GOJHL Western Conference's top teams will duke it out Friday as the Leamington Flyers travel to St. Thomas.

The Flyers sit atop the conference with an 11-point lead, followed by a three-way tie for second that includes the Stars, the Chatham Maroons and the London Nationals.

In Junior C action tonight, the Blenheim Blades will try to continue their recent success as they take on the Dresden Jr. Kings. Head Coach Rob Vanderydt says a big 11-3 win over Wheatley last weekend is a sign the team is turning things around.

"We dug ourselves a whole early with a couple losing streaks but the guys have been working hard, and the attitude has been very positive. We just have to keep doing the little things that have been giving us success lately," says Vanderydt.

And in Junior A action, the Kingsville Kings look for their seventh win in a row when they take on the Komoka Dragons.
