Busiest Days For Goodfellows

The Chatham Goodfellows are making one final push for volunteers as they prepare to deliver toy baskets tonight and food baskets tomorrow.

Tim Mifflin with Chatham Goodfellows knows they don't have much time to get it all done.

"It's kind of a crucial time, we had to choose Dec. 22 for food delivery and packing just because of the logistics this year and it really doesn't leave us a lot of room to get that food out before Christmas," he says. "I say it is the most exciting time of the whole campaign, as it stands we will be delivering at least 1,420 baskets and that number is continuing to rise."

Toy delivery starts at 5:30 tonight from the former Guspro building at 280 Grand Avenue East in Chatham.

The food packing starts at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
