Arrest After Ridgetown Bar Fight

Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest after an altercation that started at the Arlington Tavern in Ridgetown.

Police were called to the tavern parking lot around 2:40am on December 13th but everyone had already cleared the area by the time officers arrived.

Shortly afterward police say they received a tip that a man was at a York St. residence looking to confront a young man in the home who was in the parking lot. A 65-year-old relative exited the home and an argument ensued that ended with the relative sustaining injuries and requiring medical attention at the hospital.

A 21-year-old Thamesville man was arrested last night and released with a future court date.
