Fluffy Gifts For Children At CKHA

Children receiving care at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance are going to have some stuffed animals to help keep them company over the holidays.

Chatham's PetSmart is donating 300 stuffed toys to the hospital foundation.

"Thank you very much to the team at PetSmart and all of the individuals who made a contribution to this initiative over the past month," says Michele Grzebien-Huckson, the executive director of the Foundation of CKHA. "These adorable stuffed animals will be a wonderful gift to the children who are receiving care at CKHA over the holidays."

Donations collected at PetSmart throughout the month of December from both customers and staff allowed for the stuffed toys to be handed out to children at the hospital.
