Habs Alumni Tour Headed For Tilbury

The Tilbury Lions Club says they've got a good stocking stuffer on sale for Christmas.

Group member Mike Taylor says general admission tickets for the Montreal Canadiens Alumni Hockey Tour game in late January are only $20 and VIP tickets $100, or you could play on the opposing team.

"You have to be 35 or older to play, it's $150," says Taylor. "We will basically just choose a number of players from those that show interest." Two spots on the Canadiens alumni team are also up for grabs, with the two highest bidders getting roster spots.

The game is being held January 29th at Tilbury Arena. Anyone interested can contact the Lions Club for tickets or go to the DPM Insurance office in Tilbury.

900 tickets are being sold for the event, with proceeds going to help the Lions Club support local programs.
