The hydro company says the outage was the result of a motor vehicle collision around 9pm on Saturday.
The Ontario Provincial Police says a vehicle had collided with a hydro pole on Tisdelle Dr. at Melody Dr. in Tilbury.
Power was restored just after 9am Sunday.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
