Holiday Monday Closures In Chatham-Kent

With Boxing Day Saturday, there are plenty of scheduling changes in Chatham-Kent for the holiday Monday.

The CK Public Utilities Commission and Entegrus offices will both be closed. In addition, residents won't have access to the Chatham Cultural Centre box office.

Chatham-Kent Health and Family Services will also be closed.

Residents should check their Residential Recycling and Waste Collection Guides for information on garbage collection dating back to Christmas Day. CK transit buses will be operational, as well as area swimming pools and arenas.

Over at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, routine x-rays, EKG's and ultrasounds are not available. Outpatient services will also not take place, as well as CK mental health and addictions programming.

The Elston pharmacy will also be closed, in addition to the CKHA oncology department.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
