New Electricity Rebate Program

A new program is helping low income residents pay their electricity bill.

The Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) is a brand new Ministry of Energy initiative.

Gary Symons, director of customer service for Entegrus, says it's easy to find out if you qualify.

"You'll know right up front whether or not you should qualify," says Symons. "So you go online, you fill out the application, and you're subject to, if you approved, a credit starting January 1."

Rebates range from $30 to $75. For more details on the OESP program, or to see if you qualify, click here.
