Murder Victim Involved In Drive-by

Windsor police say the 30-year-old man, shot and killed on Oak St. in Windsor last week, was facing two counts of attempted murder.

Alekesji Guzhavin from London had been accused in a drive-by shooting on Howard Ave. at Erie St., back in September.

Another victim in last Thursday's shooting, 35-year-old Greg Henriquez, is recovering at Windsor Regional Hospital. His condition was upgraded from critical to serious, Tuesday.

Dia Hanan, 32, is expected in court Thursday morning, facing first degree and attempted murder charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
