Leamington's new Erie Shores Hospice is on track to open on time, as it's about 90% complete.
In fact, Executive Director Carol Derbyshire says things are a bit ahead of schedule right now because the weather has been so cooperative for construction crews.
"The rooms are being painted as we speak. The floors are pretty well all in. The hallways are painted. In the kitchen, the appliances will be coming in shortly," she says.
Derbyshire says the outdoor patios are all done as well.
Landscaping will happen in the spring.
Hospice staff are expected to receive training in February, patients will start to move in over March, with a grand opening ceremony planned for April.
