Spitfires Crush Wolves 6-1

The Windsor Spitfires hammered the Sudbury Wolves in a 6-1 victory on Thursday.

The Spitfires took a 1-0 lead in the first and continued in the second with a 2-1 advantage over the Wolves. Windsor gained their momentum in the third, scoring four unanswered goals to crush Sudbury for the win.

Right winger Christian Fischer led the Spitfires with two goals and says he's very happy with the outcome.

"We pulled away in the third period. It was kind of tight going into it, but we had a big power play goal," he says. "It was good game from everyone."

The Spitfires take on the Erie Otters next on Saturday at 7:05pm.
