Assault Suspect Turns Himself In

A Chatham man faces assault charges following a fight at a Chatham bar.

Back on January 30, two men got into an argument at the King St. W establishment, with one of the staff members being assaulted with a beer bottle

Through investigation a suspect was identified Saturday, and agreed to turn himself in.

Now a 25-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault with a weapon. He's been released with a future court date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
