St. Clair Board Planned For Success

The St. Clair Catholic School Board set specific goals for the past year and the director of education says the board met them.

Director Dan Parr says setting out objectives and a plan to reach them has helped raise academic standards.

"We made fairly substantial improvements in our student achievement record on a number of fronts and I'm very proud of that," he says. "As a board we stepped back and clarified what are our most important priorities and there are three of them, they are in our mission statement they are in our strategic plan."

Parr says his annual report to the board was presented recently and concentrated on reaching benchmarks in a number of areas.
