Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect

Police are looking for male suspect after a 24-year-old Chatham woman was sexually assaulted in the city's downtown.

It happened last Friday night around 8:30pm while she walking on King St. W.

Authorities say she was grabbed from behind and inappropriately touched by an unknown man.  She was able to free herself and leave the area. The man was last spotted running northbound between the Scotia Bank and Mamma Maria's restaurant.

The suspect is described as tall with a thin build.  He was last wearing dark clothing with a beige ski vest.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
