More Charges For Violin Teacher

Another 19 victims have come forward in a sexual misconduct investigation involving a Wallaceburg violin teacher.

Back in November, Chatham-Kent police arrested 70-year-old Claude Eric Trachy in connection with a number of alleged sexual assault incidents dating back to the 1980's.

With more accusers coming forward, police have laid 45 additional charges against Trachy, who has been released from custody with court conditions.

The accused was a self-employed strings teacher, who has since retired after working in the Wallaceburg area. He will be back in a Chatham courtroom on March 10, 2016.
