Furnace Fire In Cedar Springs

A house fire in Cedar Springs has been deemed as non-suspicious.

Chatham-Kent police say the blaze broke out just before 9am Friday on Service Rd.

Police add the fire originated in the furnace area of the home. Damages are estimated around $20,000.

The only occupant of the home was transported to hospital for precautionary reasons.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
