Better Transportation For Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County is partnering with CareLink Health Transit to provide better service to its clients.

"Working in partnership has allowed us to have skilled drivers that are driving the vehicles while also having skilled attendants on board in the vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the clients," says CareLink Lead Tracey Bailey.

CareLink is a transportation network made up of seven different companies serving clients in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

"We have improved accessibility features, we have better access, door-to-door service. We've improved through the expertise of coordination and schedule. We've also ensured the security of a sustainable program," says Bailey.

The CareLink Health Transit will pick up clients at their door and bring them to the Alzheimer Society day program.
