North Kent Wind Project Moving Along

The North Kent Wind 1 Project continues to inch closer to getting provincial approval.

The proposed project between Chatham and Wallaceburg could include anywhere from 40 to 50 turbines.

Project developer with Pattern Energy Jody Law says their environmental studies and reports are now available for public comment and review.

"They're very comprehensive and extensive studies," says Law. "The feedback we have been getting from the ministry and the public has been pretty positive so far."

Law says if everything goes according to plan, construction could start by the end of the year.
