Road Rage Assault Charge

A case of alleged road rage on Hwy. 401 left a Napanee man facing and assault charge.

Chatham-Kent OPP were called to the eastbound OnRoute Service Centre in Tilbury Friday shortly after 7 pm after a man reported being assaulted.

The man reported an incident of road rage and stopped at the service centre but the other party also stopped and after an exchange of words the suspect allegedly assaulted the man.

Officers were able to identify the man an arrested him a short time later.

He was released and will be back in court April 1.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
