McKinnon, Krieger, Faubert Receive League Awards

Three members of the Chatham Maroons have received Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League awards for their play.

Defenceman Connor McKinnon was named a First Team Western Conference All-Star.

"It's definitely an honour to receive that award in my last Junior B year this year," says McKinnon. "But I wouldn't be able to do it without my teammates, who have come to the rink every day and put in the hard work that they do and the coaching staff that believed in me this year and really gave me the ice time to prove myself."

Meanwhile, Forward Ross Krieger was named a Western Conference Rookie Team All-Star, while captain Ian Faubert received the Chester Pegg Memorial Outstanding Ability and Sportsmanship Award.
