Unclaimed Ticket Worth Big Bucks

OLG is reminding area residents that you can't win if you don't check your ticket.

Somewhere, there is a lottery ticket that is worth $10,000 and OLG says the owner only has two weeks left.

It's a LOTTO 6/49 ticket sold in Chatham for the draw held last March 21.

There is no way of knowing if a resident of Chatham or a visitor bought the ticket, but if you have some tickets that haven't been checked you need to do it soon.

Ontario Lottery tickets are only redeemable for a year after the draw date, so after 6 pm Monday March 21, this one goes from $10,000 to scrap paper.
