UPDATE: Driver Hurt In ATV Crash

Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate an ATV accident then sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.

As BlackburnNews.com previously reported, officers responded to reports of a man lying in the middle of a Longwoods Rd. (Hwy. 2) near Bothwell shortly before 9pm Saturday night.

A 56-year-old man was taken to Four Counties Hospital in Newbury with life-threatening injuries. He was air-lifted to hospital in London, where he remains in critical condition.

Anyone who may have seen a man operating an ATV in the area on Saturday, March 12th, or witnessed the collision is asked to contact Constable Jason Herder at Jasonh@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 ext 87234.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
