Rondeau Welcome Sign Stolen

Drivers coming into Rondeau Park will be greeted by two wood posts after someone hacked off and stole the welcome sign.

On Friday night Chatham-Kent police say someone removed the "Welcome to Rondeau" wood sign from Wildwood Line just west of Kent Bridge Rd.

It's about 1m by 2m and worth $500. Police say it was also recently painted with bright colours.

Anyone with information is asked to call Chatham-Kent police at 519-436-6600 ext. 222 or anonymously Crime Stoppers.
