Maroons-Flyers Kick-Off Series

The Chatham Maroons open the second round of the Junior B playoffs tonight in Leamington against the top ranked Flyers.

Maroons head coach Tyler Roeszler expects a close series. He also says there's a bit of an adjustment playing on Leamington's larger ice surface.

"You just have to be willing to move your feet," says Roeszler. "You've got to be around the puck, you've got to support the puck, there has to be urgency in working as a five man unit to be around the puck and I think that's vital to the success."

Leamington won the regular season match-up, taking four of the six games. Chatham was also outscored by a total of 26-16 in those matchups.

You can hear the game live on AM 630 CFCO or BlackburnNews.com.

Puck drop at Highbury Canco Arena is set for 7:10pm.
