Police Increase Patrols For St. Patrick's Day

Windsor police are increasing patrols for St. Patrick's Day.

Constable Andrew Drouillard says there will be overlapping shifts and an increased presence in the downtown just like the average Saturday night.

He's urging people to enjoy the night responsibly and look after one another.

"Our main message obviously is to not drink and drive. In doing that it's planning ahead, plan ahead for a safe ride home," says Drouillard.

Drouillard says, generally speaking, people have been responsible over the last few years and he hopes that trend continues.

"Everyone enjoy their night responsibly so that everyone can have a safe and fun night," says Drouillard.
