UPDATE: Fire Erupts In Blenheim

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal and Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate a house fire in Blenheim.

Fire crews and other first responders were called to 58 Nichols Dr. at 12:43pm on Thursday. Fire officials say the blaze erupted in the main floor of the home.

A man was transported to hospital from the scene of the fire, but his injuries aren't expected to be life threatening.

Damage is pegged at around $150,000, but the cause of fire remains under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
