Easter Holiday Hours

The Easter weekend means holiday closures for government, health care and other functions.

Most out patient care at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is closed Good Friday and Monday. That includes outpatient X-rays and other imaging, except in the case of emergency.

The emergency departments in both Chatham and Wallaceburg are operating as normal and dialysis care is available.

Most government offices including municipal service counters and public health services are closed all four days.

Libraries are closed today and Monday and have normal hours on Saturday.

The Ridge House and Chatham-Kent museums as well as the Thames Art Gallery are closed Friday but open from 1pm to 5pm the other three days.

Arenas are closed today and Monday and will operate normal hours Saturday and Sunday.

Waste transfer stations are closed Friday then back to regular hours.

If you have garbage pick-up on Friday it is pushed back to Saturday and but there is no change to garbage collection next week.

As well the OSPCA Chatham-Kent Animal Centre is closed to the public for Good Friday but open 12pm to 4pm, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
