The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has renewed horseracing at the Dresden Slots and Raceway through until at least 2021.
Dresden Ag Society President Lucille Laprise says stakeholders met with the OLG last week, and had only positive things to say about their location.
"They thought we have a great facility, a wonderful racetrack," says Laprise. "And yes the community is supporting us 100%. Good jobs and everything, it's prosperous for the town of Dresden."
Laprise adds once the weather becomes consistently warm, they can clean up the grounds and prepare for this year's season.
