Crash Closes Lane On Hwy. 401

Police were forced to close one lane on Hwy. 401 following a single-vehicle crash in Lakeshore.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Sunday around 7pm, a vehicle collided with a guardrail in the westbound lanes of the highway, between Puce Rd. and Manning Rd. Police say debris from the crash was scattered across the east and westbound lanes.

It is unknown if anyone was injured.

The OPP say officers closed one of the westbound lanes near Puce Rd. while emergency crews were at the scene. The lane has since been reopened.
