Union Gas Contemplates More Renovations

With an almost $17-million renovation now complete at the Union Gas IT facility, the company is thinking about some major work on the head office on Keil Dr.

Company President Steve Baker says it is ready for an update that will allow it to continue as head office for decades to come.

"In terms of what we need to do to give a little TLC to that building, it has been around for a long period of time it does need some repairs particularly on the front end," he says. "More glass, more natural light and updating the insides of the building as well. We really want to take the same approach as the IT Centre in terms of what our employees are looking for."

Baker says since the project is still in the planning stages. He isn't sure when it will begin or how long it will take.
