Festival Of Giving Sets Up Online Bidding

This year's CK Festival of Giving event is sold out, but there's still a way to get in on the action without a ticket.

The Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent has set up a "Bidding For Good" page where over 450 items are up for auction online.

Chair Gord Purchase says one item in particular might excite comic book fans.

"We have a Stan Lee-autographed Spider-Man comic book cover," says Purchase. "We've heard he's retiring so this is supposed to be a high-end item that will probably go for a lot of bids."

Money raised at the Festival of Giving "Studio 54 - Disco Fever" will go to support a plethora of organizations, including Outreach For Hunger, the Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters and of course the Children's Treatment Centre.
