I.P.M. Committee Challenges Minto Councillors

The chair of corporate sponsorship for the International Plowing Match in Minto this September is getting politicians involved in the fundraising.

Ross Wilkie is challenging members of Minto Council to donate to IPM fundraising.

Wilkie says he is going to other councils in Wellington County to see if they will match or better whatever Minto Council donates.

Mayor George Bridge has suggested Minto councillors dig into their own pockets to buy a $500 bench for the plowing match. The benches are being made by local high school students.
