Knights Beat Niagara in OT

The London Knights have taken a commanding 3-0 series lead in the OHL Championship.

Owen MacDonald scored at 2:58 in overtime to give the Knights a 6-5 win over the Niagara Ice Dogs on Monday night.

Niagara jumped out a 4-2 lead in the first period, and after trading goals in the second, London responded with two unanswered goals in the third to even it up and send the game to the extra frame.

Jacob Graves had four assists for the Knights, while teammate Mitch Marner added two helpers.

London can claim the OHL title with a win in game four in Niagara on Wednesday night.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
