Donation Comes With Challenge

The owner of a Chatham restaurant is doing his bit to help out fire ravaged Fort McMurray, Alberta and is encouraging others to do the same.

Cameron Moradipour of Original 2 Pizza says he is donating $1,000 to the relief effort and is issuing a challenge to all the other local restaurants to do the same.

"I want to help, my help as it is, I can encourage other restaurants to pitch in," he says. "I was watching the news, getting tears in my eyes. If I do this and other people come in, I'm not saying it is going to cover a lot, but every single dollar helps."

Moradipour says he got the idea when he was watching video of people leaving the city, and heard that the federal government is matching donations.
