Fire At Wallaceburg Recycle Yard

Fire officials continue to investigate after a recycling fire in Wallaceburg.

Firefighters responded to 100 Mason St. just after 12pm Wednesday.

Thick black smoke was coming from the recycling yard, and officials say it could be seen from Chatham.

Firefighters got the blaze under control in around 15 minutes. There has been no word yet on the extent of the damages or the cause of the fire.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
