Man Airlifted To Hospital

A Chatham-Kent man had to be airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle crash southwest of London.

Elgin OPP say two commercial trucks collided at the intersection of Coyne Rd. and Pioneer Line, near Dutton around 11:55am Thursday.

The driver of one of the trucks, a 59-year-old Chatham-Kent man, was airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The other truck driver, a 58-year-old Port Stanley man, is charged with failing to yield to through traffic.

Pioneer Line between Miller Rd. and Dunborough Rd. will be closed until at least 7pm as crews work to clear debris from the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
