Two Trucks Collide On Hwy. 401

Two truck drivers have been taken to hospital after one big rig rear-ended another Friday morning on Hwy. 401.

The impact of the crash sent debris scattered across all three westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 near County Rd. 42 in Lakeshore. It happened at around 5am. Two of the lanes remain were closed as the road was cleared. All lanes are have now been reopened.

Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and police say charges are pending.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
