Chatham-Kent police have charged a 12-year-old after a shoving incident at a school.

Police say the boy was asked by a teacher several times to complete his work, but didn't cooperate.

It's alleged the boy started packing up his belongings, and when he was told he couldn't leave the classroom he shoved the teacher pushing her back several steps.
