Victoria Ave. Is Chatham's Worst Road

Chatham-Kent didn't crack the CAA's list of worst roads this year, but one local street did come up more than the rest.

CAA Government Relations Specialist Raymond Chan says local complained the most about Victoria Ave. in Chatham.

"It was basically that one," says Chan. "I hear that particular stretch of road is quite bad -- it's riddled with potholes."

Baldoon Rd. W. was number two on last year's list in southwestern Ontario, but it wasn't a factor in the 2016 campaign.

Chan says the goal of the campaign is to take the numbers they receive and show them to the federal and provincial governments in order to persuade them to provide funding to struggling municipalities.
