UPATE: OFM Investigating Wallaceburg Camper Fire

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a camping trailer fire in Wallaceburg.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Dell St. around 4:30pm on Tuesday. The fire spread to neighbouring properties on Dell St. and Old Glass Rd. However, crews were eventually able to contain the blaze before it spread further.

No one was hurt because of the fire.

Authorities are trying to figure out what caused the fire, but damage estimates come in around $50,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
