Ekblad Says Passion is the Key to Success

NHL defenceman Aaran Ekblad told students at F.J Brennan Sports Academy in Windsor passion is the key to success in life and hockey. "Any job that you have whether it's an entry level job once you finish high school, whether it's school itself in anything, passion has to be the most important thing," said Ekblad.

He gave the motivational talk at the school Friday afternoon and signed autographs for students.

Ekblad said his agent and friend Bobby Orr taught him that important lesson. "He taught me about passion and how important it is to have passion in whatever you do and take that into your daily life," said Ekblad.

Ekblad is originally from Windsor and currently plays for the Florida Panthers.
